Kevin Cochran is a northern Minnesota musky guide in the Bemidji/Cass Lake areas for 20 years and has completed over 2500 guide trips. Kevin has placed and won tournaments in the local Bemidji/Cass Lake Muskie Inc chapter and the Professional Musky Tournament Trail. He has written articles for In-Fisherman and Musky Hunter Magazine. Over the years Kevin has developed a strategic game plan for mapping out his fishing season based on the different lakes’ peak times, solunar affects, weather, water temps, and many other factors. Despite understanding all of these factors sometimes the muskies still win. Kevin is a believer in Christ, husband, father, business owner (Headwaters Hat Company) and teacher in addition to running his guide service.

Wisconsin licensed fishing guide, and US Coast Guard certified captain, Dan McGuire will share the techniques he uses to catch walleyes on pools 2- 4 of Mississippi River. Whether you’re looking for a fish of a lifetime, or a nice batch of filets for a Friday fish fry, the Mississippi River offers quality opportunities for walleye anglers. Captain Dan has over 30 years of experience fishing the Mighty Miss’ and logged countless hours on this moving body of water chasing trophy walleyes. He will share general locations to target throughout the different seasonal movements of the walleyes and sauger. Dan will also discuss presentations and the equipment needed to successfully target these river walleyes and become a better angler!

Jason Mitchell

Jason Mitchell has hosted and produced JMO media productions on television broadcasts for nearly twenty years. JMO airs on FanDuel Sports North on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am. According to raw ratings, JMO has one of the highest viewerships in the Midwest. Before television, Mitchell operated one of the largest guide services in the Midwest on Devils Lake, ND and in 2016, was inducted into the ND Fishing Hall of Fame. Mitchell also has several top ten tournament finishes on his resume and his expertise has been featured in hundreds of articles, blogs and media platforms. Mitchell has been credited with devolving and pioneering many walleye fishing tactics over his thirty year career in the fishing industry but his willingness to share real information is what sets him apart from many of his peers.

Nick Blanco

Captain Nick Blanco has been running Driftwood Wilderness Lodge, a group of fishing and hunting lodges on Kodiak Island in Alaska, for the past 10 years. Now in his late 30s, Blanco has been working at Alaskan lodges since age 18 when he was a student at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn. He now has three lodges on Kodiak, two in Larsen Bay, Alaska's fishing capital, and a third lodge in Kalsin Bay, within driving distance of Kodiak City. Blanco knows where the Kodiak salmon, cod, and halibut are. A hunting transporter, he is an experienced hunter for Sitka deer, mountain goat, Kodiak brown bear and waterfowl. Blanco grew up fishing and hunting in Minnesota and can tell Minnesotans what they can expect when hunting and fishing in Alaska. He's also been on national TV shows "Building Alaska" in 2019, and on the Outdoor Channel's "Life on the Edge" in 2024 and 2025.
