Description:

Driftwood Wilderness Lodge is located on Uyak Bay in Larsen Bay, which is 60 miles southwest from the city of Kodiak. Travel Alaska says this area has some of the best fishing grounds in the Kodiak Archipelago. The lodge is owned by Nick Blanco, a USCG captain and fishing guide/hunting transporter. He has been featured on TV programs "Building Alaska" and "Life on the Edge".

Larsen Bay is a small hunting and fishing village thats surrounded by Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge, a whopping 2,812 square mile preserve that engulfs most of Kodiak Island. The refuge features rugged mountains highlighted by alpine meadows, abundant wetlands, and long-lasting spruce forests. Kodiak Island wildlife viewing is endless, and Kodiak Brown Bears and hundreds of different species that call this island home.

On the water, DWL guests will spot seals, sea lions, sea otters, porpoises, puffins, and whales.
